Employer sponsored visas

Programs available to help businesses sponsor skilled migrants.

Fill local skills shortages with global talent.

South Australian businesses that are unable to find suitably skilled local workers may be eligible to sponsor overseas workers through an employer-sponsored visa program.

There are two visa programs supported by Skilled and Business Migration:

  1. Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) – through the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) and the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494), Labour Agreement streams
  2. Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494) – Employer Sponsored stream
