Skilled & Business Migration acting as the Designated Area Representative (DAR) is recognised as the Skills Assessing Authority for some occupations which are Non-ANZSCO specified or not available on the Skilled Occupation List. Please see the DAMA Occupation List to confirm the Skills Assessment Authority for each occupation.
To apply for a DAR skills assessment, employers who have an executed DAMA labour agreement from the Commonwealth of Australia (Department of Home Affairs) may submit an application through the online portal providing all the relevant documentation.

DAR Skills Assessment Process
Skills Assessments undertaken by the DAR are reserved for employers with an executed DAMA labour agreement.
Step 1: Labour agreement executed
- Once the DAMA labour agreement is executed, the nominee is identified
Step 2: Skills Assessment submitted
- The employer submits a skills assessment application on behalf of the nominee
- Skilled & Business Migration (DAR) assess the nominee’s skills and qualification
- Successful skills assessment is issued to the employer
